The nineties: Rana laid the foundations for a great development
It was in this time period that Giovanni Rana promoted the great changes that were gradually to favour the shift from a family-run small business to a very nationwide industrial organisation. The structure of the Company was enlarged with the arrival of a number of qualified managers: delivery was spread all over the country thanks to the involvement of new agents and with the drawing up of national contracts with the great distribution. The look of packaging was improved and investments in advertising campaigns were increased. In 1990, Giovanni Rana himself started to star in his advertisements to guarantee the quality and the excellent taste of his products personally.
